Mrs Margaret Wheeler Waters The Banner, Sunday, May 13, 1900 Transcribed by Connie Epps Bond (CEB) DOD: May 12, 1900 Sad Death of Mrs Waters Funeral Occurred Yester- Day at Princeton Mrs. Margaret Wheeler Waters, wife of Mr. James Waters, died yesterday at her home in the suburbs of the city. She was forty five years of age, and leaves no children. Mrs. Waters was her husband’s second wife. The funeral occurred yesterday afternoon at 2 o’clock, near Princeton Factory, Rev. E. D. Stone officiating. Mrs. Waters was a member of the Methodist church, and was a most estimable Christian lady. Note from CEB March 17, 2009: No marker. There are numerous funeral home markers in Princeton that dates are no longer readable. I will attempt to check the funeral homes to see if they have anything on their records and possibly the grave diggers records for Oconee Hill. Those records are in the Heritage room, Clarke Co, GA Library. I will also send an email to a descendant of the Waters family to see if they can assist me in any way.
