Note from CEB: James Knox Polk Waters Son of James Samuel Waters and Bashie Hamilton See below: Obit MR. JAMES WATERS The Banner, Friday Morning, August 14, 1903 Transcribed as written by C. Epps Bond April 29, 1847 - Tuesday, August 11, 1903 MR. WATERS WAS BURIED WEDNESDAY Princeton Citizen Stricken With Paralysis – Died Tuesday Afternoon Mr. James Waters, who has been a resident of this county for a number of years and who resided between the city and Princeton factory, was stricken with paralysis a few days ago and died Tuesday afternoon. Mr. Waters never spoke between the time that he was stricken and the time of his death. The scenes of the members of his sorrowing family around his bed trying in vain to get from the stricken father and husband some word or sign of recognition were pathetic. The remains of Mr. Waters were interred at Princeton church yesterday afternoon, Rev. E. D. Stone preaching the funeral service. Mr. Waters leaves a wife and six children and a large number of friends to mourn his loss.
