Banner Herald, pg 3, Tuesday, February 8, 1944 Transcribed by Connie Epps Bond from UGA microfilm Miss Flonnie Waters Taken By Death In Atlanta hospital DOD: February 7, 1944 Miss Flonnie Waters, 52, died in Atlanta Monday morning at 10:45 oclock following an illness of eighteen months. Services will be conducted from Princeton Methodist church, the Rev Shelton E Adams, pastor of the church officiating and burial will be in Princeton cemetery. Pall-bearers will be Steve Shackelford, S P Waters, Arthur Waters, Carson Waters, Emory Waters and Homer H Dunaway. Date for the services will be announced later by Clyde McDorman Funeral Home Surviving Miss Waters are two brothers, C M Waters, Athens and J D Waters, Calhoun Falls, SC, and large number of nieces and nephews.
